Dr. Ahmed Huzayyin is an experienced electrical engineer with more than 20 years of expertise in industrial sector development. He earned his B.Sc. And M.Sc. degrees from Cairo University and his Ph.D. from the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at the University of Toronto. With a wide range of project management experience spanning research, academic, industrial, and private sector development, he has managed over 100 projects globally in countries including Egypt, Canada, China, and Mauritania.

Dr. Huzayyin is the co-founder and manager of the Eco-Industrial Department in Chemonics Egypt (CE). He has collaborated with a variety of international organizations such as USAID, UNIDO, AFDB, and IFC, as well as local and international agencies.
