Dr. Kölsch is the General Manager for Geo- und Umwelttechnik GmbH (Germany). He graduated as a Civil and Environmental Engineer and received a PhD from Technical University Braunschweig (Germany), and later on received a postdoc at MIT (Cambridge) and Tokyo University. Dr. Kolsch has 20 years of experience in International Development, especially in the Middle East, East Africa, Central and SE Asia.
In addition, Dr. Kölsch designed and established several treatment plants (MBT, composting), and worked as a Technical Advisor to the World Bank. Since 2022, he is residing in Amman implementing GIZ’s project on separate source collection and supporting KfW financed MBT project.
